Eligibility to Enter 

• • • All artists must be Artist Level ArtSpace Members. To become a member visit www.artspacema.org.
    • Each artist may submit two works.This 2 work limit will be strictly adhered to on intake days. Please indicate which of your pieces you want us to exhibit in the event we have to limit entries.
    • All work must be for sale.
    • All work must be under 36×36”. Measurements must include frame. Three dimensional work should fit on a pedestal, please contact us if you have larger 3D work so that we can make plans for its installation.
    • All mediums welcome.
    • No entry fee.
    • We hope to hang all submissions, but may have to select one from each artist due to space limitations. We will contact you if this is the case.

How to Submit Your Work: 

1. Complete the Submission Form by 9/8. You’ll need:

• • • • your basic info
      • size of artwork (height, width, depth)
      • an image or images of your artwork (jpg or pdf). Please understand that your image may be used in ArtSpace publicity, including print materials.
      • you’ll have the option to include an artist statement or resume.

2. Drop-off Your Artwork (see dates and times above, and Specifications below) If you cannot drop off your work in person, make arrangements for someone else to do it for you. Late work can not be accepted. 

ArtWork Drop-Off Specifications: 

All work needs a label on the back for identification purposes. Please include Artists Name, title, price, and artist’s phone and/or email. There will be blank labels available at drop off. 

All 2D work must be framed and wired ready for hanging. No alligator hangers, snap frames, clip frames, or frames with an easel back. Works not framed and wired will not be hung. 

3D work: check with the gallery to see what kind of pedestal is available for your piece. 3D work that is heavy or fragile will need the artist to be on hand to install. 

When you drop off your work, you will be asked to: 

• • • • sign your piece in
      • add a label to the back if you haven’t done so already
      • complete a Group Exhibition Agreement which includes the policies below.

Policies in the Barbara Erwin Gallery: 

All work will remain on display until the conclusion of the show. We cannot hold artwork for a customer unless it is paid in full. Artwork cannot be released to a buyer without proof of payment. 

ArtSpace will take 30% commission on gallery sales before tax. Please take this into account when pricing your work. 

Artists may choose to donate the proceeds of their sale to support ArtSpace. 

Artists understand that ArtSpace has neither a formal security system nor security staff. Artists, should they choose, may carry their own insurance to cover their work. Artists understand and accept that ArtSpace is not liable for loss or damage to artwork.

The gallery sometimes hosts art classes and workshops for adults. Despite small class sizes and careful participants, artists must understand that accidental damage is possible. ArtSpace is not liable for damage to artwork during gallery hours or during ArtSpace classes or workshops. Artists may choose a frame that provides protection for their work if needed.
